Job summary

Valley Care is recruiting a care worker for our extra care scheme at Harrison Park in Hull. The role is a permanent full-time night position on a 2-week rolling rota with set days and overtime potential.

You will provide life-changing care and support to vulnerable adults, helping with personal care, mobility, daily living tasks, meals, medications, and social activities. Training is provided, with pathways for qualification funding and career progression.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Demonstrate compassion and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care (washing, bathing, toilet arrangements).
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Perform domestic tasks (making beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry).
• Assist with eating and drinking (preparing meals and snacks).
• Assist with administering medication.
• Support clients during social visits and trips to shops.
