Job summary

Valley Care is seeking a Night Care Assistant for Harrison Park’s extra care scheme in Hull. This full-time night role runs 19:00–07:00 on a two-week rolling rota. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday.

You will provide life-changing care, support with personal care, mobility, meals, medications, and social visits, while maintaining dignity and respect for all clients.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• No previous experience required, but you must show compassion, be an excellent communicator and a problem solver.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (washing, bathing and toilet arrangements).
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Domestic tasks (beds, tidying, light cleaning, laundry).
• Help with meals, snacks and drinks.

Valley Care are recruiting for a care worker to join our team based in our extra care scheme at Harrison Park.

• 1x FT night position 19.00 - 07.00

This position is working on a 2-week rolling rota, with set working days

• Week 1 - Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives.

Job Description

• Our care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Assisting clients on social visits and access to shops.
