Hill Care Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for night shifts in our residential home. You will support residents with daily living, maintain dignity, and assist with mobility and meals, while following care plans and policies.

The role emphasizes effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety procedures, with opportunities for vocational training and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player with willingness to participate in vocational training.
• Satisfactory police check and POVA list check where applicable.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
• Experience of caring for elderly clients.

Responsabilités

• Assist with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living.
• Support care needs (physical, emotional and spiritual) while preserving dignity.
• Assist with mobility and use of aids; monitor for safety.
• Observe and report changes in residents' wellbeing and behaviour.
• Assist with meals, serving and meal-time support.
• Maintain cleanliness: beds, rooms and equipment.
• Answer nursecall, doors, and telephone; relay messages.
• Work under supervision of senior staff and follow policies.
