Job summary

Lillyburn Care Home, part of Care Concern Group, seeks a Care Assistant to provide person-centred care and support for residents in Kirkintilloch. You will help with daily living, dignity and wellbeing, while adhering to care plans and maintaining a compassionate environment.

This role welcomes experienced carers and newcomers alike, with full training and ongoing development offered to support your care journey.

Job description

Lillyburn Care Home in Kirkintilloch provides high-quality residential and nursing care in a warm, welcoming environment. Our dedicated team delivers 24-hour support for frail-elderly residents and those living with mild to moderate dementia, including specialist care within our Kintyre unit. Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents\' lives every day. This role is central to delivering high quality, person-centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.

Contract and Benefits

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 42 hours per week
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
