Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is seeking a Night Porter for our Ayr hotel. You will ensure guest safety, carry out routine security checks, assist with breakfast prep from 6am, and liaise with guests and residents to resolve issues in a courteous, professional manner.

You'll support night-time operations across food & beverage, maintenance and other departments, delivering outstanding service. Applicants must be 18+, able to work night shifts, and enjoy working in a dynamic, guest‑facing team.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail to keep areas clean and presentable.
• Clear communication with guests and staff.
• Strong customer service to handle guest needs and complaints.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of guests, staff and hotel at night.
• Perform minimum of two security checks, maintain fire and safety standards.
• Liaise with guests, assist with breakfast prep from 6am.
