Job summary

The Mercure Paignton in Paignton, United Kingdom, is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. You will balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, produce end-of-day reports, and support overnight front desk operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications

Experience in hospitality finance and night audit procedures.
Strong accuracy in reconciliations and reporting.
Clear communication with guests and team.
Familiarity with property management systems (PMS).

Responsibilities

Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions (rooms, F&B).
Prepare end-of-day financial reports for management.
Check in late arrivals and provide overnight front desk support.
Conduct security checks to ensure guest and property safety.
Collaborate with front office and accounting teams; handover notes.
Assist with room service and handle emergencies overnight.
