Job summary

The Mercure Paignton is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the F&B team at our Paignton hotel. You will oversee daily shift activities, coordinate with kitchen and bar, and ensure exceptional guest service in a fast-paced seaside setting.

We value leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train and motivate staff. This role requires evening and weekend availability and a proactive, energetic approach to delivering memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in F&B or hospitality.
• Previous supervisor or team-leader role in a restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Lead the F&B team to deliver welcoming service.
• Oversee daily shift setup, guest orders, and flow.
• Train and mentor team members.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for smooth service.
• Monitor stock and assist with inventory.
• Assist with scheduling and shift planning.
• Maintain hygiene and health & safety standards.
