Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management Ltd is seeking a Night Auditor for our Paignton hotels (ibis Styles and Mercure Paignton). You will balance daily financials, prepare end-of-day reports, and provide overnight front desk support in a dynamic, guest‑facing role.

The position requires hospitality or finance experience, good attention to detail, and flexibility to work night shifts. Benefits include discounted rooms, birthday leave, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or finance roles.
• Attention to detail in financial reconciliation.
• Strong communication and guest relations.
• Basic IT skills and PMS familiarity.
• Ability to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and other charges.
• Prepare end-of-day financial reports for management, ensuring accuracy in accounting records and resolving discrepancies.
• Check in late arrivals, assist guests with inquiries, and provide overnight front desk support.
• Conduct regular security checks throughout the hotel premises to ensure guest and property safety.
• Collaborate with the front office and accounting teams to address issues identified during the night audit.
• Maintain clear communication with the day team by preparing handover notes and recording relevant information.
• Assist with room service.
• Handle any emergency situations overnight, coordinating with necessary departments.

What you'll be doing...

• Assist with room service
• Handle any emergency situations overnight, acting as the point of contact and coordinating with necessary departments

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Previous experience in hospitality or finance roles, with an understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial reconciliation
• Good communication skills and the ability to handle guest enquiries professionally
• Basic IT skills and familiarity with property management systems (PMS)
• Flexibility to work night shifts and the ability to remain focused and productive
