Job summary

Novotel London Greenwich, part of the Accor network, is seeking a dedicated hospitality professional to deliver VIP service to guests. You will handle late arrivals and early departures, manage room reservations, and support multiple departments to ensure accurate guest records and seamless handovers between Night Audit and Reception.

The role emphasises guest satisfaction, integrity and teamwork, with opportunities to develop through Accor Academy and global mobility within the company.

Qualifications

• Guest focused personality is essential; experience is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities.
• Experience with Opera or a related system is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming late arrival guests and farewelling early departures.
• Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and posting revenue.
• Preparing and distributing relevant reports to inter-departments.
• Managing and confirming reservation details for in-house guests with accurate records.
• Coordinating with Front Office and other departments as needed.
• Supervising and supporting Front Office team during shifts.
• Responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly.
• Ensuring smooth handover between Night Audit and Reception at shift changes.
• Maximising guest satisfaction and property safety.

Job Description

Your expertise will enable you to provide VIP service to our guests. Your typical duties will include but won't be limited to:

• Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewelling our early departures.
• Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing daily revenue postings.
• Preparing and distributing relevant reports to inter departments.
• Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guests details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
• Collating paperwork for departures and coordinate with the Front Office team.
• Providing supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
• Responding to guest enquires and requests in a timely manner.
• Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift between Night Audit and Reception.
• Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
• Attending to guests requests efficiently and effectively in order to ensure total customer satisfaction
