Job summary

Cabot Links Lodge in Inverness is seeking a Night Auditor to manage the overnight operations, balance guest accounts and support guest services. You will verify revenues, post nightly transactions and assist with all reservation activities.

The role requires experience in guest services, strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. A background in accounting for night audits is an asset; the position is full-time and seasonal.

Qualifications

• Experience in Guest Services, Inverness area knowledge.
• Night Audit experience with accounting background is an asset.
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with reservations systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance service standards.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and able to prioritize deadlines.
• Excellent telephone manner.
• Team player and self-starter, able to work independently.
• College degree or 3 years guest services experience in Hospitality/Customer Service.

Responsibilities

• Balance nightly transactions and verify guest accounts.
• Post nightly transactions and monitor guest accounts.
• Check-ins and check-outs daily.
• Produce daily reports for departments.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Promote a safe working environment.
• Respond to guest inquiries via email, phone and social media.
• Maintain reservation records and cancellation policies.
• Assist with travel arrangements as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
