Job summary

Dalhousie Castle in Bonnyrigg, Scotland, is seeking a confident Night Auditor to oversee Front Office and guest experience overnight. You will be the main point of contact for our guests while the daytime team is away, ensuring security, accurate postings and a seamless overnight operation.

You will handle check-ins/outs, payments, reservations, banking and nightly reporting, working with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping and Management to maintain Dalhousie Castle’s luxury standards.

Qualifications

• Previous Night Auditor experience is advantageous.
• Strong administrative and financial awareness is required.
• Professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly overnight.

Responsibilities

• Welcome late-arriving guests and handle night-time check-ins/outs.
• Deliver professional, personalised service and respond to guest inquiries.
• Monitor reservations, bookings and no-shows; manage payments and banking.
• Prepare daily reports and ensure front office information is accurate.
• Conduct security, fire safety checks and oversee overnight operations.
• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping and Management for a seamless guest journey.
