Job summary

Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 2 Ward Clerk in Birmingham to support inpatient services with administration, data input and reception duties. The role involves using the Rio system and handling multiple administrative tasks within the ward.

The ideal candidate will have GCSEs in Maths and English, experience with word processing and NHS/public sector experience. Hours are 8:00 to 20:00 on a rotational basis, with NHS terms and conditions applicable.

Qualifications

• GCSE level in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience using word processing packages.
• Experience in a similar administrative/business support role.
• Experience working in the NHS or public sector.

Responsibilities

• Data input and general administrative duties.
• Photocopying and telephone answering.
• Monitoring of generic/personal email accounts.
• Scheduling of appointments and pulling patient records.
• Welcoming visitors.
