Job summary

Rydon is hiring a Maintenance Plumber to join our NHS maintenance and repair team in the South East. You’ll perform daily building maintenance including plumbing, light electrical, carpentry and general wear-and-tear tasks as part of a Planned & Reactive maintenance programme.

Expect 8am–5pm Monday to Friday with an on‑call rota to boost earnings. A competitive starting salary and a range of benefits support your wellbeing and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining buildings, ideally NHS or similar maintenance contractor.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance as part of PPM and reactive programme.
• Carry out plumbing tasks and general maintenance such as light electrical, carpentry and ironmongery.
• Participate in on-call rota; undertake temperature and emergency light checks; support upgrade works.
