Job summary
Rydon Maintenance is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Plumbing Engineer to join our South East NHS maintenance team. You will deliver planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across healthcare properties, with duties spanning plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, and general fabric repairs.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with participation in an on‑call rota and additional payments for call-outs and overtime.
Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance, NHS environment preferred.
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance.
- A plumbing qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Strong customer service and workmanship quality.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of PPM and reactive repairs.
- Undertake plumbing maintenance and general building tasks.
- Carry out basic electrical repairs, carpentry, and door hardware work.
- Conduct planned compliance checks (lighting, temperature, emergency lighting).
- Contribute to continuous improvement and upkeep of healthcare properties.
