Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Management Accounting Assistant to support divisional accounting and financial reporting. You will work with budget holders to model information and feed monthly performance reports for service meetings.

The role involves reconciling control accounts, assisting in annual budgeting, developing detailed management information in Excel, and providing data for internal and external reporting.

Qualifications

• High numeracy and accuracy in financial information
• Ability to work with spreadsheets to provide high quality financial data
• Experience supporting budget holders and clinical/non-clinical colleagues

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain spreadsheets and records for Directorate Accountants
• Analyse income/ Expenditure, identify variances and report findings
• Reconcile control accounts monthly and maintain documentation
• Prepare monthly budget reconciliations and related analyses
• Assist in regular budgeting and planning processes
• Provide information for internal/external reporting and meetings
