Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient IT skills including spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication with all management levels.
• Experience providing financial information to budget holders and directors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and input journals, ensure correct coding and authorisation.
• Prepare budget virements according to policy.
• Meet budget holders to discuss financial performance and variances.
• Undertake costings for new developments and service enhancements.
• Assist with annual budget setting and staffing establishment costs.
• Raise invoices for directorate income with clear supporting information.
• Provide advice on financial systems and interpretation of statements.
• Ensure compliance with Standing Orders and financial procedures.
• Contribute to production of Trust Annual Accounts and returns.
