Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Customer Service Advisor for our Maidstone site, supporting the NHS Supply Chain contract. You will be the first point of contact for NHS customers, ensuring they receive a high standard of service and proactive support.

This full-time, Monday to Friday role runs 09:00–17:00 with a salary up to £26,307.24 per year and 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays. Benefits include a blue-light card, pension, private dental options, 24/7 GP, life assurance and an employee

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.

• Good IT skills including Word and Excel; bespoke systems experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Handling customer enquiries via our call management system with accuracy and care.
• Investigating and resolving issues promptly within service guidelines.
• Managing urgent orders, returns, and complaints with empathy and efficiency.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and service delivery.
• Maintaining customer profiles and proactively managing service changes.
