Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager to join the NHS Supply Chain contract in Daventry. You will ensure core people processes align with GXO’s values and provide leadership across the HR function.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 with some flexibility due to logistics. Salary is up to £50,000 per year, plus 25 days annual leave, pension, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards) with strong HR knowledge and up-to-date employment law expertise.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Planning & Organisation skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to influence others.
• Strong IT skills e.g. MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of HR Policies, Employee Relations, Change Management and HR databases.

Responsibilities

• Align people-related policies and processes to ensure legal compliance.
• Implement an approved People Plan that underpins changes to Culture and Performance.
• Manage and motivate the HR team to deliver against objectives.
• Support Leadership standards and capability via development, training and succession planning.
• Provide proactive support across employee relations and employment law, including TUPE and redundancy.
