Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the NHS Supply Chain contract in Bury St Edmunds. This on-site role focuses on Employee Relations support, ensuring consistent and compliant HR policy application while enhancing the employee experience.

You will manage ER caseloads, support absence management, and deliver people-focused initiatives, using data to identify trends and drive improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent HR designation.
• Experience in a fast-paced operational environment with a proactive, service-oriented approach.
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied Employee Relations caseload including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and flexible working cases.
• Coach and support managers on HR policies, employment law and best practice case management.
• Monitor absence trends and work with managers and Occupational Health to improve attendance and wellbeing.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, contract changes and wider HR administration activities.
• Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, training programmes and continuous improvement of HR processes.
