Job summary

NHS Professionals is seeking a Brokerage Placement Assistant for a temporary placement across multiple locations in England. The role is full time (37.5 hours) with a pay of £15.25 per hour and an initial 3-month duration with possible extension.

Based at Priory House (Bedfordshire), Gemini House (Cambridgeshire), or The Forum (Hemel Hempstead), you will coordinate and administer care placements, liaising with care providers, hospitals, patients and families while handling funding records and

Responsibilities

• Communicating professionally with a wide range of stakeholders, including care providers, hospitals, medical professionals, patients and their families.
• Supporting the identification and coordination of suitable care placements.
• Assisting with cost negotiations with care providers.
• Managing and maintaining accurate funding administration and associated records.
• Handling sensitive and sometimes complex conversations with confidence and professionalism.
• Communicating assertively and effectively, while maintaining positive working relationships.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to help achieve positive outcomes for individuals.
