Job summary

Travail Employment Group is recruiting an IT Technician in Newport, South Wales. The role involves moving and setting up IT equipment across two sites, with occasional travel. A driving licence is essential for this on-site, two-site position.

You will support end users, set up devices, and assist with network checks while maintaining stock and following SOPs. Immediate start available, temporary ongoing position.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and own vehicle.
• IT experience or strong interest in IT.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Good communication via telephone, email and in person.
• Strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Move desks and IT equipment between sites as required.
• Set up laptops, PCs and printers and check networks.
• Install equipment and verify network connectivity.
• Collect and manage IT equipment from stores area.
• Provide 1st line IT support and raise tickets as needed.
• Assist with stock control of IT equipment.
