Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting Early Career Teachers to work in welcoming primary schools across South Liverpool, with flexible supply, long-term and permanent opportunities.

Ideal candidates will teach Key Stage 1 (Year 1 and Year 2), plan engaging lessons, support early reading and phonics, and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment. QTS is required, with a passion for Year 1/2 and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in KS1.
• ECT keen to develop experience in KS1 years 1/2.
• Strong passion for Year 1 and Year 2 development.
• Solid understanding of phonics and early learning.

Responsibilities

• Teach within Key Stage 1 across Year 1 and Year 2.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Support pupils with reading, phonics, writing and maths.
• Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to needs.
• Collaborate with TAs, colleagues and leaders.

Early Career KS1 Primary Teacher – South Liverpool

Supply, Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities Available
£130–£145 per day (depending on experience and assignment)

Vision for Education is recruiting enthusiastic ECTs to work in welcoming and supportive primary schools across South Liverpool, with opportunities available to start as soon as possible.

Whether you're looking for the flexibility of supply teaching, want to build your confidence across Year 1 and Year 2, or are hoping to secure a long-term role where you can complete your ECT induction, we have a range of opportunities available.

We work closely with primary schools across South Liverpool, many of which have an excellent track record of supporting Early Career Teachers through their first years in the profession.

The Role

• Teaching within Key Stage 1, primarily across Year 1 and Year 2.

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.

• Supporting pupils with early reading, phonics, writing and maths.

• Creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leaders.

• Opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis.

• Roles available for an immediate or ASAP start.

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• An Early Career Teacher looking to develop experience within Key Stage 1.

• A genuine passion for teaching within Year 1 and Year 2.

• A good understanding of phonics and early learning development.

• Confident communication, organisation and classroom management skills.

• Flexible, reliable and committed to providing an excellent learning experience.
