Job summary

Pennine GP Alliance is seeking a newly qualified GP to join the Calder & Ryburn PCN in Calderdale, West Yorkshire. The role involves working across multiple practices with dedicated supervision and development opportunities.

You will provide face-to-face and remote consultations, manage a caseload, sign prescriptions, and contribute to care plans within the GMS framework. A £3,000 training budget supports early career development; 4–8 sessions per week can be full- or part-time.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified GP within 2 years of registration.
• MRCGP qualification and Full GMC registration are essential.
• Performers List Registration is required.
• Clear Enhanced DBS check and UK driving licence are essential.
• Flexibility to work outside core hours is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Face-to-face and telephone consultations with patients.
• Manage caseload and autonomous decision-making with supervision.
• Sign repeat prescriptions and handle associated queries.
• Develop care plans in consultation with patients.
• Coordinate governance, QOF, and CPD activities.
• Maintain timely, accurate consultation notes and data for audits.
