Job summary

Pennine GP Alliance in Calderdale (West Yorkshire) is recruiting a newly qualified GP to join Calder & Ryburn PCN. You will work across practices within the PCN, performing face-to-face and telephone consultations, home visits, and care home visits, with professional supervision provided by an assigned GP.

You will develop care plans with patients, check and sign repeat prescriptions, handle queries, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care across Good-rated practices.

• Cover all clinical management of in-surgery patients, including initiating investigations, reviewing results and referring as appropriate.

You will undertake several duties governed by the GMS contract including:

This post will require you to work across different practices within the PCN all of which are rated as Good with CQC. This presents a great opportunity to gain valuable experience and insight of the workings and culture within different practices. We are a Sponsor Organisation for the employment of Skilled Workers. A training budget of £3,000 will be invested in your development during this contract. We will work with you to tailor a package of training support and study leave that will give you the necessary skills, knowledge, and understanding to thrive in these early years of your career. Between 4 and 8 sessions per week (full time/part time please state the number of sessions as a preference in your application).
