JDP is expanding with a new branch in Newbury and seeks a motivated Branch Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, safety, and profitability while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will lead the branch team, drive sales growth, manage stock and purchasing, and work with suppliers and field sales to support business expansion. This is a pivotal role to shape a new venture within a stable UK company.

Formación

• Experience in stock management, purchasing, and branch operations.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication.
• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver profitable growth.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements in operations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the branch team to create a high-performing culture.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective branch management and customer engagement.
• Ensure consistent excellent customer service levels.
• Manage branch stock, purchasing, goods receiving and stock control.
• Oversee resources to meet delivery deadlines and customer requirements.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and compliance.
• Control branch costs, including overtime and carriage expenditure.
• Develop and implement branch improvement plans to support growth.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, field sales colleagues and support teams.
• Ensure company procedures and documentation are followed at all times.
