John Davidson Pipes Limited is expanding with a new branch in Newbury. We are hiring a Branch/Yard Assistant to help build a busy, customer-focused yard and trade counter from day one.

The role involves order processing, forklift loading/unloading, providing product information, and keeping the yard orderly and safe. Applicants should have basic literacy, numeracy, and forklift certification. This is a full-time, on-site position with training and long-term career opportunities.

Your Role:

As a Branch/Yard Assistant, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring smooth operations and excellent service. Your responsibilities will include:

• Accurate Order Processing:Picking and processing customer orders with precision.
• Efficient Loading and Unloading:Using a forklift truck to load and unload vehicles safely.
• Customer Service:Providing customers with product and service information and serving on the trade counter when needed.
• Yard Maintenance:Keeping our yard safe, organized, and professional-looking.
