Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Barnsley is seeking a Sales Consultant to join our busy dealership team. The role focuses on delivering an outstanding customer buying experience and meeting sales targets in a high-volume retail environment.

From Day 1 you’ll be supported by a comprehensive benefits package and a structured training program, with a typical five-day week and shifts that include some weekend hours. A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Take the time to talk to people and build a genuine rapport to identify exactly what your customer needs.
• Meet sales volume targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
• Exceed customer satisfaction and promote long term profitability for the Dealership and Group.
• Telephone prospect new and existing customers.
• Promote and sell additional items such as GAP, paint protection, service plans and warranties.
• Keep up to date with current finance options, regulations and legislation to provide all available options.

What will you be doing?

Our passionate sales team at our highly successful Barnsley dealership are looking for a new team member with a passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service to join their team. This is a challenging role where customer care always comes first.

You will:

• Take the time to talk to people & build a genuine rapport in order to identify exactly what your customer needs, turning opportunities into business.
• Meet sales volume targets and maximise profit opportunities with each sale.
• Exceed customer satisfaction and promote long term profitability for the Dealership & Group.
• Telephone prospect new and existing customers.
• Effectively promote and sell additional items such as GAP, paint protection, service plans and warranties.
• Keep up to date with current finance options regulations and legislation to be able to provide our customers with all available options.

This position is working 5 days a week as per the sales rota with Sunday's being one of the days off.

Hours are :

MON-FRIDAY 08.30.18.00

SATURDAY 09.00-17.00

SUNDAY 09.30-16.00

Previous motor industry sales experience is a distinct advantage but not essential as a full training and development programme will be provided from Day 1.

The successful applicant must agree to a Basic Disclosure under the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) procedures. Employment will be offered to the successful applicant subject to a satisfactory Disclosure report.
