Job summary

Baresca Tapas is opening a new venue in Mere Green and seeks a Deputy General Manager who inspires teams, leads with positivity, and delivers heartfelt hospitality. You will work closely with the General Manager to shape service standards, guest experience, and team culture from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality or busy restaurant/bar settings.
• Strong people-management and training skills.
• Excellent guest service focus and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the general manager in opening and day-to-day running of the restaurant and bar.
• Lead from the floor during service to ensure a warm, efficient guest experience.
• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing team.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, cleanliness and atmosphere.
• Support opening/closing procedures and ensure operational standards are met.
• Oversee events, private bookings and group reservations.
