Job summary

Baresca in Nottingham City Centre is seeking a charismatic, energetic Deputy General Manager who thrives on hospitality and people-focused leadership. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to shape a warm, high-performing team culture and create unforgettable guest experiences that keep guests returning.

You’ll lead from the floor during service, recruit and train the team, maintain high standards of service and atmosphere, and support events and private bookings with enthusiasm.

Located in the Nottingham City Centre, we’re looking for a charismatic, energetic, and people-focused Deputy General Manager to help lead our restaurant & bar.

This is a key leadership role within the business, perfect for someone who loves hospitality, thrives on creating atmosphere, and naturally brings energy to a room. We’re looking for a genuine host — someone who can inspire a team, build relationships with guests, and help create the kind of restaurant & bar people can’t wait to come back to.

You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager to continue building a fun, positive, and high-performing team culture centred around warmth, personality, and heartfelt hospitality.

The Role

• Support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day running of the restaurant & bar
• Lead from the floor during service, creating a warm, lively, and memorable guest experience
• Bring energy and positivity to every shift, helping set the tone for the team
• Build strong relationships with guests and create a loyal following
• Support the recruitment, training, and development of a happy and motivated team
• Maintain high standards of service, atmosphere, cleanliness, and presentation
• Take ownership of smooth daily operations in the Restaurant Manager’s absence
• Support events, private bookings, and busy service periods with confidence and enthusiasm
