Job summary

Baresca Tapas in Mere Green is seeking an experienced General Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations and guest experiences. This hands-on leadership role requires a natural host who thrives on floor presence, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences from day one.

You will recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, set the standard on the floor and in the kitchen, and drive service, food quality, atmosphere, and consistency.

Qualifications

• Proven quality restaurant experience as a General Manager or on track as a DGM seeking first GM role.
• Natural host who connects easily with guests.
• Warm, confident, and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful day-to-day running of the restaurant.
• Take full ownership of front-of-house operations and guest experience.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team.
• Set the standard on the floor and in the kitchen through visible leadership.

The Role:

Let’s break the package down:

• up to £44,000 base salary
• Up to £6,000 achievable performance bonus
• Service charge average split: up to £10,000
