Job summary

Baresca Mere Green is opening soon in Sutton Coldfield and is seeking a Chef de Partie to own their section, deliver consistent food to Baresca standards, and support the kitchen team. The role offers progression in a brand-new, values-led environment with a family-run ethos.

Role is hands-on, with full and part-time options. £13 per hour, service charge, and an OTE of £16.50 per hour. Christmas Day & Boxing Day off; pension and meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Passionate about food, quality, and consistency.
• Well organised with strong attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Takes pride in their section and personal standards.
• Keen to develop and progress within a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of your section, ensuring food is prepared and presented to Baresca standards
• Deliver consistency, quality, and pace during service
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Assist with prep, service, and maintaining a clean, organised section
• Follow all allergen, food safety, and due diligence procedures accurately
• Help maintain standards to support a 5* Environmental Health rating
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front of house team
• Support training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members
