Job summary

McLaren Automotive Ltd seeks a New Model (NM) technician to coordinate cross-functionally with the wider organisation for a smooth production launch of new models and derivatives. You will ensure quality, cost and schedule targets are met, and work with teams across design, engineering and production.

You will follow detailed instructions for vehicle assembly, painting or testing, help resolve issues impacting quality and productivity, and contribute to development and launch activities for

Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualifications.
Experience with McLaren products or niche vehicle brands preferred.
Prototype build activity and vehicle production launch experience.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow detailed work instructions for construction, painting or assembling of vehicles.
Ensure all station operations meet quality standards and timescales.
Collaborate in problem solving affecting quality, cost, or productivity.
Attend work regularly and maintain a clean, safe work area.
