Job description

What makes this opportunity exciting?

Excellent earning potential

Starting salaries typically range from £28,000 to £35,000, depending on your experience, with attractive commission opportunities on top. For ambitious individuals who enjoy selling, building relationships and achieving results, the earning potential can be extremely rewarding.

Sell something aspirational

You’ll be showcasing beautiful new homes, premium specifications and desirable developments, helping customers find a home that suits their lifestyle and aspirations.

Make your mark through creative marketing

This isn’t simply about waiting for customers to walk through the door. Housebuilders value salespeople who can think commercially, take initiative and find innovative ways to promote their developments.

From generating local interest and building community connections to creating engaging social media content and organising imaginative events, you’ll have the opportunity to bring ideas to life.

Got an idea to attract more buyers? Put it forward! No idea is too crazy. Your ability to think on your feet and generate interest could make a real difference to the success of your development.

Build lasting customer relationships

You’ll guide customers through one of the biggest purchases of their lives, delivering an exceptional experience from the initial enquiry through to reservation and beyond.

Develop a long-term career

The housebuilding sector offers opportunities to develop your sales expertise and progress into senior sales, management and wider commercial roles.

The role

As a Luxury New Homes Sales Consultant, you will:

  • Welcome prospective buyers and showcase new-build homes and developments.
  • Build rapport with customers, understand their needs and match them with the right property.
  • Manage enquiries, follow up leads and convert interest into reservations.
  • Deliver engaging viewings and present the features, benefits and lifestyle associated with each development.
  • Proactively generate new leads and identify opportunities to attract potential buyers.
  • Develop creative marketing ideas to increase footfall, generate enquiries and raise the profile of the development.
  • Think outside the box when it comes to local marketing, events, promotions and customer engagement.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective purchasers throughout their buying journey.
  • Negotiate confidently, overcome objections and work towards sales targets.
  • Keep accurate customer records and manage a pipeline of prospective buyers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the development.
What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from sales professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, commercially minded approach with a genuine desire to achieve targets.
  • A keen eye for marketing, presentation and detail.
  • Creativity, initiative and the confidence to try new ways of generating business.
  • Excellent customer service and the ability to deliver a professional, high-quality experience.
  • Resilience, self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • A full driving licence and access to transport where required by the development.

Previous experience in new homes or property sales is advantageous but not essential. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop your knowledge of the housebuilding sector.

  • Luxury automotive sales.
  • Premium retail, designer fashion or luxury goods.
  • High-end travel, hospitality or lifestyle brands.
  • Estate agency or residential property sales.
  • Recruitment or other consultative sales environments.
