Waylands Automotive is a successful and growing motor dealer group with 11 sites across Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, and Avon.

What’s the Role?

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead our sales team, focusing on new car sales. Your experience in sales management will help you guide the team in delivering high-quality service to our customers. Reporting to the General Manager, this role offers the opportunity to join a reputable automotive retail group.

What does a typical day involve?
  1. Managing the Sales Executives and Transaction Manager
  2. Motivating the team to meet sales targets for new vehicles, finance, and insurance products
  3. Interacting with customers face-to-face and via phone/email
  4. Coordinating with marketing and digital sales teams to promote vehicles and services online and in-dealership
  5. Maintaining high customer satisfaction scores
  6. Handling customer complaints effectively
  7. Tracking KPIs
  8. Ensuring FCA compliance in all sales in partnership with the Transaction Manager
  9. Closing deals when required
  10. Preparing stock to company standards
  11. Maintaining a high standard of showroom and forecourt presentation
