Job summary

Universal Business Team in Norfolk is seeking an energetic Business Development Executive to drive new business, research prospects and secure meetings. This role targets outbound activity and aims to build a high-quality pipeline with senior decision-makers across multiple sectors.

You will use HubSpot for CRM, enjoy a clear progression path as the company grows, and work Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with on-site parking and company lunch provisions.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in business development, lead generation or outbound sales.
• Ability to win new business and build a robust pipeline.
• Confidently engage senior stakeholders and decision makers.
• Strong commercial awareness and outstanding communication.
• Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities across target markets.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.
• Generate appointments and sales opportunities through proactive outbound activity.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Research target organisations and buying signals to inform outreach.
• Manage prospect activity and CRM records to hand over qualified opportunities.
