Are you looking to join a community of business development professionals that support the growth of small and medium-sized businesses? Does helping others meet their full potential excite you? Amazon, a global leader in e-commerce, is seeking New Account Managers (business development professionals) to join its Third-Party Marketplace support team based in Madrid, Spain.

Your role will focus on contributing to new business acquisition through lead generation, business evaluation via phone/email, and supporting the launch of new sellers—helping them make their products available to millions of Amazon customers. You will also build seller relationships as an account manager, supporting their business launch and growth on Amazon. Additionally, you will incorporate seller feedback into opportunities to improve Amazon’s products, services, processes, systems, and tools for third-party sellers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Identify, prospect, and recruit high-potential sellers to Amazon.es via phone or email.
  2. Prioritize and manage a pipeline of sellers to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
  3. Act as a business partner for new sellers, providing data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success.
  4. Educate sellers about Amazon’s delivery and customer experience standards.
  5. Enable sellers to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems for efficient catalog, inventory, and performance management.
  6. Understand category specifics to identify trends, popular brands, seasonal items, and pricing strategies.
  7. Track, report, and analyze business development results for your portfolio of sellers.
  8. Manage your time effectively to achieve targets in a results-oriented environment.
  9. Enhance the portfolio of Chinese/Mandarin-speaking selling partners.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 6 months to 2 years of related experience.
  • Fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Spanish.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong sales and objection-handling skills with a proven performance record.
  • Action-oriented, autonomous, and responsible for achieving quarterly targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Proficient in Excel and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data analytics in professional or academic settings.
  • Experience in internet, e-commerce, or retail sectors.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, operations, and process improvement.
