Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking an experienced Pathway Improvement Manager to join the Neurosciences Medical Specialities Team. You will lead project management, performance reporting and financial planning to support safe, person-centred care across services.

The role reports to Clinical Services Managers and works with clinicians and managers to drive service improvement. Permanent, full-time with standard NHS hours at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in project management and performance monitoring/reporting.
  • Knowledge of financial management processes, budgeting and variance analysis.
  • Experience handling administrative and operational support teams and SPSO/FOI requests.
  • Good knowledge of UK GDPR requirements and information governance practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management activities and reporting across Neurosciences Medical Specialities programme.
  • Support delivery of a complex programme of work within Neurosciences.
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to secure engagement and drive service improvement.
  • Contribute to corporate and operational management of the service.
  • Support senior management with budgeting, expenditure monitoring and financial planning.
  • Assist in achieving access targets and manage waiting times administrative teams.
