Job summary

Held Health Limited is recruiting a Specialty Doctor in Paediatrics (Neurodevelopmental) to lead structured diagnostic assessments for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder in children and young people. You will work within defined pathways, combining Stage 1 data with comprehensive Stage 2 evaluations, and provide clear diagnostic conclusions and management plans.

Flexible, sessional remote work with periods of in-person assessments as required by pathways.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in ADHD and/or ASD diagnostic assessment pathways in children and young people.
• Experience in applying DSM-5 / ICD-10/11 criteria within defined clinical pathways.
• Strong clinical reasoning and diagnostic formulation skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structured neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments in children and young people.
• Conduct focused clinical interviews with families.
• Review multi-source information including histories, school reports and tools.
