Job summary

Held Health Limited is seeking an experienced clinician to join a specialist CAMHS diagnostic service delivering neurodevelopmental assessments for children and young people. The role involves second-stage assessments within ADHD and autism pathways, building on Stage 1 information to reach evidence-based conclusions.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in ADHD and/or ASD diagnostic assessment pathways in children and young people.
• Experience with structured neurodevelopmental assessment and DSM/ICD criteria.
• Ability to synthesise multi-source information into a biopsychosocial formulation.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and MDT colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structured diagnostic assessments of children and young people.
• Conduct focused clinical interviews with young people and families.
• Review developmental histories, school reports, and informant questionnaires.
• Provide feedback and contribute to service development within defined pathways.
