Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services in the UK is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to deliver high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children, young people and families.

You will conduct face-to-face observations, remote development history interviews via Zoom, and participate in MDT discussions to ensure timely and accurate diagnoses. The role offers hybrid working, clinical supervision where appropriate, and opportunities to contribute to training and research.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of professional registration with HCPC, NMC, GMC or Social Work England.
• Experience conducting diagnostic assessments for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Experience using diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, etc.
• Excellent written language skills for high-quality clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents via Zoom.
• Participate in peer MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports, including diagnostic formulations, with smart tools.
• Work to meet service KPIs and provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments (hybrid role).
