Job summary

Evolve Psychology Services is seeking a Specialist Neurodevelopmental Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the UK, delivering high-quality autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people. You will conduct face-to-face observations, remote history interviews, and contribute to MDT discussions, with hybrid in-person and remote work options.

You will produce clear reports, receive expert supervision, and work within NHS-funded and private pathways.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with UK regulatory bodies (HCPC, NMC, GMC or SWE) and eligible to work in the UK.
• At least 1 year of diagnostic assessment experience for autism and/or ADHD in children and young people.
• Strong differential diagnosis knowledge in neurodevelopmental presentations.
• In-depth knowledge of DSM-5 criteria for autism and ADHD.
• Experience with diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2 and ADI-R.
• Excellent time management and ability to meet clinical deadlines.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to discussions.
• Highly developed written language skills for high-quality reports.
• Excellent communication with children, young people and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face structured observations as part of the neurodevelopmental assessment process.
• Conduct remote developmental history interviews with parents and carers via Zoom.
• Participate in MDT diagnostic discussions with senior clinicians.
• Deliver clear, compassionate feedback to families.
• Produce accurate clinical reports including diagnostic formulations.
• Meet service KPIs.
• Provide clinical supervision where applicable.
• Travel to a clinic base to conduct in-person assessments (hybrid only).
