Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a part-time Band 6 Health Professional to join the Wiltshire Neurodevelopmental Pathway. You will contribute to specialist assessments for autism and ADHD in children and work with parents, carers and a multi-disciplinary team across hubs in Chippenham, Bath, Salisbury or Trowbridge.

The role requires professional registration, a recognised health qualification and experience with neurodevelopmental assessments.

Qualifications

• Recognised health professional degree qualification or equivalent.
• Registration with relevant professional body.
• Knowledge of assessment tools for social communication differences and attention differences.
• Up-to-date knowledge of autism interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to community locations.

Responsibilities

• Make assessment and differential diagnosis of a child’s communication and social interaction needs using specialist assessments and consultations.
• Inform sound clinical judgements for case management.
• Collate information to reach the most appropriate diagnostic outcome in liaison with the family and multi-disciplinary team.
