Job summary

Leaders In Care Ltd is seeking a Neurodevelopmental Assessor for CYP & Adult ADHD/Autism in the West Midlands. The role is clinic-based, paid at £65 per hour, and requires a minimum of two regular days per week on-site.

You will be part of a clinical MDT, conducting comprehensive assessments across ADHD and autism pathways, with integration of inputs from patients, families, and education settings.

Qualifications

Neurodevelopmental Assessor - CYP & Adult ADHD / Autism

£65 per hour | West Midlands | Clinic-based | Minimum 2 days per week

If you enjoy neurodevelopmental assessment but want to be part of a clinical team rather than simply picking up individual assessments, this is a slightly different opportunity.

We are supporting a neurodevelopmental service in the West Midlands looking for experienced clinicians to work face-to-face from clinic for a minimum of two days per week, assessing children, young people and adults across ADHD and autism pathways.

This is not a per-assessment role. You will be paid £65 per hour and work as part of the wider clinical team, with regular capacity, MDT input and ongoing involvement in the pathway.

The work will include:

• ADHD and autism diagnostic assessments across CYP and adult pathways.
• Developmental and clinical history taking, differential considerations and functional impact.
• Integration of information from patients, families, education and other professionals where relevant.
• Clear, evidence-based reporting and contribution to MDT diagnostic decisions.
• Working alongside the wider clinical team on complex presentations, safeguarding and onward recommendations.

You will need appropriate professional registration and recent UK experience contributing to ADHD and/or autism diagnostic assessments.

Experience across both conditions and age groups would be ideal, although clinicians with particularly strong experience in one pathway may still be considered.

The important part is that you are comfortable working face-to-face in the West Midlands, can commit to at least two regular days each week, and want to work as part of the service rather than as a remote per-assessment clinician.
