Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our Community Based Neuro Rehabilitation and Early Supported Discharge teams in a full-time, permanent split role. You will work 22.5 hours in the West Berkshire community and 15 hours on the inpatient Neuro Rehabilitation Unit at West Berkshire Community Hospital, Thatcham.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC Registration
• Post-graduate qualifications in relevant area (Desirable)

Responsabilités

• Assess and rehabilitate patients with neurological conditions with MDT
• Carry out assessments, differential diagnosis and treatment planning
• Apply specialist OT skills to develop treatment plans
• Coordinate discharges and liaise with external services
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and students
• Contribute to service development and audits
• Maintain CPD and clinical governance compliance
