The Company

Since 1846, we’ve been making people healthier and the economy stronger. We serve generations of families and will continue to do so.

We aim to positively impact people and the planet. We don’t just supply water; we keep people healthy and help them grow. We operate around the clock, testing water multiple times daily.

Our 600 employees are vital to our success. We focus on their health and growth, not just employment.

The best of both worlds

As one of the smallest water companies in the UK, we’re nimble and quick to serve our customers and staff. Since joining the Pennon group in June 2021, which also owns South West Water and Bournemouth Water, we benefit from the stability and opportunities of a large organization while maintaining a dynamic, small-company feel.

The Benefits

We prioritize employee wellbeing through access to Champion Health, an award-winning wellbeing app, 24/7 anonymous helpline, free flu jabs, health assessments, and seminars on various health topics.

Travel benefits include a discounted car purchase scheme, interest-free loans for season tickets, and a cycle-to-work scheme.

Family-friendly policies include life assurance, income protection, generous holiday allowance (starting at 23 days plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days), and options to buy/sell holiday days.

We offer a stakeholder pension scheme with up to 8% company contribution, share schemes, and various flexi-benefit options like dental insurance, health plans, childcare vouchers, and will writing services.

Employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, and discounts at high street retailers via our platform.

Additional benefits depend on the role and may include a car allowance or company vehicle, healthcare, mobile phone, and laptop. Some benefits are available via salary sacrifice.
