Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Southampton is seeking a Network Planner to join our hybrid team. You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across Europe, North America and beyond, delivering exceptional service for our customer BAT.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with 08:00–16:00, and you will drive network optimisation, cost control and continuous improvement while building strong relationships with carriers, customers and DHL colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics planning or transport planning roles.
• Knowledge of network planning and distribution operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across Europe and globally.
• Act as main point of contact for customers, carriers and stakeholders.
• Understand the customer's network to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage day-to-day transport and network planning activities.
• Monitor service performance and costs against KPIs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and CX.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and DHL colleagues.
• Collaborate across functions, sites and locations.
• Support project implementations and change programmes.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities through process improvements and tenders.
• Ensure high quality service delivery and cost control.
• Own operational performance and personal development.
