Location: We currently have vacancies for a Network Operations Technician to join the Customer Field Services department to cover the Sheffield area. Applicants should live within a reasonable commuting distance from our Blackburn Meadows wastewater sites and be committed to providing excellent service to our customers.
Work type: These are permanent roles, working rotational 37 or 40-hour patterns on a 4 on 4 off basis, including late, early, and weekend shifts.

As our Network Operations Technician, you will deliver first-time fixes and same-day solutions to customer and environmental issues, and manage network maintenance to prevent escapes.
You will work in the field within a geographical team to improve customer service and sewer network performance. Responsibilities include ensuring site safety, conducting investigations, operating various vehicle types, and using IT systems for data collection and reporting.
You will also maintain and install Customer Sewer Alarms, collaborate with third-party providers, and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Financial awareness and first-line customer support are essential aspects of the role.
