Job summary

Pybus Recruitment is partnering with a leading automotive organisation to recruit an experienced Network Operations Manager. You will shape and deliver the UK sales strategy, drive network performance, and lead a team responsible for key business objectives.

You should have at least five years in automotive networks, strong leadership, retailer performance management, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills. The role requires stakeholder management and occasional travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience within an automotive OEM, manufacturer, distributor, or large-scale dealer group environment.
• Strong experience in retailer network performance management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Managing key retailer performance levers including retailer scorecards, incentive programmes, variable margin structures, and escalation processes
• Supporting the development and implementation of the UK sales strategy
• Communicating strategic objectives and performance updates to the retailer network through presentations, webinars, video updates, and written communications
• Analyzing retailer performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring focused improvement
• Producing accurate and insightful reporting for senior leadership teams
• Monitoring and reviewing network KPIs, recommending adjustments where necessary to drive improved performance
• Leading and developing a team of Sales Training professionals, setting objectives and monitoring performance
• Working closely with key retailer partners to ensure strategic initiatives are understood, implemented, and delivering results
• Supporting business-critical projects and operational initiatives across the wider organisation

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute automotive professional with experience in retailer network performance, sales operations, and stakeholder management. Working closely with senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the UK sales strategy, driving network performance, and leading a team responsible for the successful execution of key business objectives.

The Role

As Network Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and delivering network performance initiatives that support the wider UK sales strategy. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and retailer partners to identify improvement opportunities, drive operational excellence, and ensure the network is aligned with strategic business goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing key retailer performance levers including retailer scorecards, incentive programmes, variable margin structures, and escalation processes

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

A minimum of five years' experience within an automotive OEM, manufacturer, distributor, or large-scale dealer group environment

Strong experience in retailer network performance management

A detailed understanding of franchised automotive retailer operations

Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop high-performing teams

Experience managing supplier relationships and commercial partnerships

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation capabilities

Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills

The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment

A proactive, self-motivated approach with a track record of driving continuous improvement

Flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required
