Job summary

Eclipse Power Networks Ltd in Milton Keynes is seeking a Network Connections Engineer to join the Asset Operations team. You will assess connection applications to our IDNO network, perform scope of works and capacity checks, and liaise with host DNOs to align interface requirements.

You will act as a key contact for customers and developers, drive continuous improvement in the connections and adoption workflows, and ensure compliance with ENA and Ofgem standards.

Qualifications

• Essential: Right to work in the UK.
• Essential: Document and process control experience in a technical/engineering environment.
• Essential: Ability to interpret electrical drawings, plans and reports for compliance review.
• Essential: Confident communicator across customers, constructors and internal teams.
• Essential: IT literate, proficient in Microsoft packages, with ability to learn platforms like Monday.com and Ultimo.
• Essential: Basic numeracy to review charging statements and tender pricing.

Responsibilities

• Manage connection applications to our IDNO network, embedded connections, G98/G99, load changes, disconnections and producing work offers.
• Carry out scope of works and capacity assessments to support external tender submissions.
• Liaise with host DNOs on bulk supply points, embedded generation notifications and interface requirements.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies across the connections and adoption workflow.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and constructors, mediating technical and process queries.
