Job summary

NESO is seeking a Connections Contract Manager (Levels 6-8) to support the Connections Operations team. The role involves managing customer contracts throughout the project lifecycle and acting as the main point of contact for customers in generation and demand projects connecting to Great Britain's electricity network.

This hybrid role, with 1-2 days in the office per week, is based in Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow.

Salary: 42,781 - 60,046per annum (depending on experience and level)

Location: Warwick, Wokingham or Glasgow (Hybrid, 1-2 days in the office per week)

Contract Length: 6 Months with potential for extension or temp to perm.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Connections Contract Manager to join NESO's Connections Operations team. You will play a pivotal role in supporting customers through the connection process for generation and demand projects connecting to Great Britain's electricity network.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer contracts and agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the primary contact for customers, handling queries, challenges, complaints and case management activities.
• Identify, assess and mitigate contractual, commercial and operational risks.
• Resolve complex customer and commercial issues through effective problem solving and stakeholder engagement.
• Build strong relationships across customers, project teams and wider stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual obligations, governance requirements and key milestones are achieved.
• Support multiple projects and priorities within a regulated environment.

Essential Experience

• Proven Contract Management experience, including management of customer agreements.
• Experience working within a regulated environment.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience resolving commercial issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple projects or portfolios.
• Experience handling customer complaints, escalations and case management activities.
• Demonstrable problem-solving skills with evidence of delivering positive customer outcomes.
• Ability to identify, assess and manage risks effectively.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
